Each year Sense organises 25 summer holidays for over 120 deafblind children and adults.
From canoeing to climbing - each holiday gives deafblind people the chance to have fun and try new experiences.
Who are the holidays for?
The holidays are for people of all ages who are deafblind or who have either a visual or hearing impairment plus additional disabilities.
Additional disabilities may include a learning disability or cerebral palsy. A number of Sense holidaymakers use wheelchairs or may need help with mobility.
What's the aim of the holidays?
Sense Holidays enable Holidaymakers to have fun in a supportive environment, gain new experiences and meet new people. Our holidays also give parents and carers a chance to have a well-earned break.
Around 200 volunteers and leaders go along each summer to make these holidays a unique experience.
