This is a comprehensive database of alternative format books and information held by around 100 organisations across the UK - all brought together for the first time in one easily searchable place.
The service offers a choice of formats available to people who cannot read standard print, including audio cassettes, braille, talking book format, DAISY digital talking book, large print, giant print, moon, braille music, tactile graphics and audio described video. Click here to visit the website.
Talking books
For those with enough remaining hearing, talking books offer a chance to enjoy your favourite authors. Unlike books on tape, talking books are not abridged.
