The Department for Work and Pensions' website provides a list of benefits available for carers of children with special needs. There are also other benefits you may be able to claim. You can download and print the benefit claim forms from this website.

Information about the Blue Badge
You can get a Blue Badge for your child if she / he has a difficulty of walking or is immobile.
With the Badge, you with your child can park the car somewhere convienent such as close to the shops and GP's office. You can also park for free in the metered parking area.
